As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, you’ll have the freedom to explore the incredible underwater world at thousands of dive sites worldwide, with depths of up to 18 meters (60 feet).

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Must Pass Basic Swim Test - Must submit medical questionnaire (some medical histories require prior doctor approval).

Academic Section - This can be completed anytime from home at your own convenience with E-Learning. The E-Learning can be completed on a phone, lap top, or tablet. It will take between 4-8 hours depending on your reading pace. Once completed your next step will be the pool training. Contact us to get your E-Learning started.

Pool Training (Confined Dives) - Begin to learn the basics of scuba diving during the pool training. While working with your instructor you will learn the necessary scuba diving skills to pass your ocean check-out dives.
​
4 Open Water Dives - Over 2 days you will complete 4 separate training dives. Each dive will consist of specific tasks to you need to complete but most importantly you will have time to dive and have fun.

Open Water Scuba Diving Certification Skills
Becoming a great diver involves learning a lot about your equipment, the environment, and the effects compressed air has on our bodies. The open water diver course will begin to teach you these skills.​
